No. She never went outside much further than the deck. She was never a jumper either and would have never made it up the side of a car....at least not without leaving some marks..... ....those made by the ladder. LOL

There's 215 days until I'm departing for the Splendours of Japan with Hiroshima, hoping that it becomes a Definite Departure sometime in the next few months. At the end of April, I'm hoping that there will still be some Cherry Blossom left to see.
Chech's amazing tour tale really sold the tour.

Oh wow, I'm happy you're going for the Japan tour. It was phenomenal! And yes, you should see cherry blossoms in April. We saw some in May. And I don't think you have to worry about the tour going ahead. The April departures are very popular!

Just one more day before I head off to the US! This time tomorrow I will be on a plane bound for Los Angeles. I was very industrious and packed last night. I've packed almost Oz like 10.5kg in the suitcase including a second bag and my hand luggage (backpack) only 2kg. Can't wait.

Whew, that's gone right into excess baggage territory to me You're not quite down to my 7kg but you've done well! Have a great trip, Tassie. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures later.

I did say almost like you! Not good enough to pack like you. If I didn't pack snacks, a second bag and a pair of thongs (flip flops) I could have saved 2kg, but what the hell. Currently at LAX waiting for flight to San Francisco.

LOL...when I went to Patagonia, my bag was like 10 kg. If I took out the shampoo, I would have save 2 kg.

7 days to go until I start my first ever Trafalgar Tour! I think I am ready. I hope I am ready. If not? Go shopping while there. i do think all will be well. Almost a year ago I started writing on the old forums and received a ton of information. My questions answered. My concerns no longer concerns. i have my blog page ready to update daily to my friends and family members, wifi permitted. Thanks to all here on the new forum that helped out and I hope to be able to join the ranks of assisting others after my return. Catch you on the flip side. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians. I am not sure how easy it will be to find a turkey dinner in Scotland! Will let you know if successful. - Patty

Haggis in a can. Really? Lol. I promise to try haggis. Bleh
I might have to substitute Turkey for gammon instead. I may get lucky with a turkey sandwich while out and about. I would think Turkey exists in Scotland? Truly a mystery! Oh the stress!
gobble gobble....

Patty: Have a wonderful time in Scotland. As for Haggis I never tried it the two times it was offered to me in Edinburgh but many of my travel companions did and as far as I know they're still alive. If you have a pair of long-johns I would toss them into my luggage if I were you just to be safe. Scotland can get very cool especially in the evenings and they don't take up too much room. Hope to hear from you when you return. Bon Voyage. Purvis

Hi Patty, I tried Haggis a couple of times while in Scotland, and it wasn’t that bad. I even tried the vegetarian haggis, and it was pretty good, although a little bit salty. It’s not something I would order regularly, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Have a great time in Scotland! I hope to get back there someday myself.
