I didn’t realized you had started writing your tour tale. I’m going to start reading it soon. I’m looking forward to reading about your experience in Cuba.

I was watching Must Love Cats yesterday and apparently there's a Hemingway House in the Keys as well...and some of his cat's descendants are still around. He had like 50 cats there.

Hey Chech, thanks again for sharing your experiences in Cuba. I know the Flickr music inserts must have been a bit of a nightmare to insert to your tale but they were great to experience as well. I felt I was right there along side your tour group!! I marvel at your command of technology. Looking forward to years of your trip tales. God Bless.

I seemed to remember seeing Hemingway's house from the outside in Key West when we went a long time ago. Bring on Italy!

I have finally finished your tale, Chech. I found it it very interesting. DH was there just before I met him, I think it was 1978. He was able to bicycle around. I have to ask him more about it.

Glad you liked it! Yeah...it's a completely different country now. In 78, it was still getting subsidies from the Soviet Union, so I imagine goods were more readily available. Today, it's so much like the wartime economy of Bosnia, it was spooky.

I finally finished reading this tour tale yesterday. It sounds like a great trip, and I liked how you had a lot of interaction with the locals. A very different experience than staying at an all-inclusive. I'm glad the food was so good as well! It was not that good when I was there, but I was staying at a resort both times, so that could be why.

Yeah, we were pleasantly surprised. I never imagined I'd like the black beans as much as I did.
