Actually, I decided to check out your pictures first, and they are great! I’ll start reading the tale next week.

Hi Chech, I’m finally going to get started on reading your blog this morning. Looking forward to seeing how your trip differs from Tulip’s.

I’ve only gotten up to day 11, but I hope to finish reading it today. I do remember reading this tour tale before though, although it was a few years ago.

I finally finished your tour tale Chech and really enjoyed it. I kind of hope my friend does come to Greece with me, so I can do the 7 day cruise option. I’d really like to go back to Istanbul.

Cool. And I want to go back to Turkey so that I can get a less rushed look at Istanbul! LOL

I hope you get to go back to Istanbul too. I can’t believe you had such a horrible guide. Did you complain about him? I think I would have.
I saw most of the same sights as you while in Istanbul, except for the spice market. I loved Istanbul though, and would love to see Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque again.

Yeah, we all told George how displeased we were. Not sure if it did anything. I know I'd love more time in the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. With a tour to Turkey, I can factor in a pre-day and spend all the time I want there!

Chech make sure that it there is not a holiday. We were unfortunate that it was the end of Ramadan when we were there, both the Grand and Spice Bazaar were closed. Also the first time I went the Dolmabache Palace was closed, which was my preday. I did get to see the Basilica Cistern on that day on my own.

Yes! Always a good idea! Especially with Ramadan cause it can vary! I've been burned by holidays before. I just booked Vietnam but the first thing I did was double check when Tet was. Luckily, in February. I'm going in January.
