Well I'm home from my Indian and Kiwi adventure so after 7 weeks it's now back to reality and back to work. I really enjoyed India, it was what I expected - no nasty shocks and fortunately no Delhi belly either. Yes there's lots of poverty and pollution but there's lots of beauty too if your open to it. It was one of my favourite travel experiences so far.
I then went back home for a kiwi Christmas and News Years with my family. It was my first Christmas back home in 10yrs and I just loved every minute of it despite the not so fantastic summer weather. I didn't do anything too exciting, it was simply being back home with family and reminiscing that I loved the most and of course the food and my mums cooking. It was sad to leave. I hope to put some sort of tale together but I'm fairly hopeless doing that type of thing.

Welcome back Bet! I’m glad you enjoyed India. I know how much you were looking forward to that tour. I hope you get a chance to put a tour tale together , as I would be interested to read it. As you know, India is the one place that I don’t really have a desire to go, and maybe reading about your tour will change that.
I’m glad you enjoyed your Christmas at home, despite the hot weather!

Awesome! I'd love to hear more about India. Doesn't have to be an organized tale if you don't have time. Make a post on your impressions with hints/tips, recommendations. I haven't finalized my flight plans for Tibet next October so there's the option that I could stay in Delhi a few days and see the Taj in Agra. Just have to decide on either a two day visit or a longer Golden Triangle Tour. (Jaipur, Agra and Delhi).
