It's a new day...........it's a new dawn!!
Yay Mr. Oz!!! Well done.
That was a nice, easy way to register and although I haven't looked around much, I do like the layout of this forum. I think you may have struck gold here!
Thank you for all your hard work, I'm sure putting this together couldn't have been the easiest thing to do, much time involved I'm sure.
I'm off to look around now!
Come on everyone....sign up!!

Love the clean layout and the large avatars! Hmmm...trying to post a pic... <img style="max-width:100%;" alt="" src=" "> Ahhh...got it to work. It's like the Insight forum. You have to link to the photo. Ohhh...and one can add attachment... Cool. Now to see if I can add attachement between lines of text so that it can be added into a tour tale... Yup. LOL

Yes, it took me right into your big beautiful picture!!
No, now it doesn't take me there now. The pictures and attachments appear very small....

Glad to see everyone's having a bit of fun experimenting and testing. I thought that this format would be suitable for us ex-Trafalgar refugees looking for something that would allow similar functionality. But there's more. A lot more. I'll elaborate on a few extra features now and others later. In some instances you'll discover a feature that the rest of us never knew about, so please share whatever you find. In time, I'll arrange for these ideas to be compiled into a 'Getting Started' list to help newcomers. Advertising:At this moment, there are no advertisements appearing on this forum. However, that will not last for long. Like free-to-air television, somebody has to pay for the use of this forum and it'll be via banner ads, similar to what you may have seen on other websites. Sorry, but that's the price we pay for getting set up without paying a subscription. Later, assuming this forum becomes popular enough, I am prepared to pay to remove the ads. So please be patient. Note: There will never be a charge for membership of this forum. Web Search engines:Unlike the Trafalgar Forum, this board is configured to be accessible by web crawlers such as Google. That means that the text we type will eventually be capable of being located by a Google search, thereby making this forum more easily found by strangers who will hopefully participate. There will be a few days (or even weeks) until the links to Google are established. Moderators:All forums need moderators to keep things working properly. Our moderator is named Admin and he/she will be monitoring things in the background. This means that any spammers, trolls etc will be identified and removed as soon as possible. But the moderator will also have a role in making any changes that improve the use of the forum. For example, a change requiring the addition of a missing sub-board in the destinations area was requested by a member and fixed immediately. This is our forum and you will see what an advantage it is, having direct access and getting things done in a timely manner. I'll comment on other features at a later time.

This is from my picture folder but it's so small, what am I doing wrong? I added it through "attachments"... It keeps it small in the dialogue area but if you click on it you will see it in full size. The one I added via the url will look bigger....prefer attachment size...it would be consistent .

You all are having so much fun that I wanted to join in and try to post a travel photo. I took this picture when I traveled to England back in 2009. Hedge maze at Longleat Estates. I got so lost in there. It took me almost two hours to get through it. Fun but frustrating! Patty

Should have let Mrs. Oz give it a try! ?. Nice door lock. Does it work on keeping teenagers in the house I wonder? Patty

Sometimes you don't want teenagers locked into the same house you're in.

I was one of those teenagers that would sneak out and meet my friends in the middle of the night. Lol. My mum did not have decent locks. Lol. If I stayed in I would have done my homework! Now that I am a grandmother I am wiser and need to plan ahead. I still think it's a great lock! Patty

All - I just saw Oz-T's post on the TT Board this a.m. and just joined. Very excited to be here. Thank you Oz-T for your hard work in developing this. It is very much appreciated.
I'm Mary, the Mary who had the Route 66 trip cancelled and is now headed to Copper Canyon this Saturday, Sept. 6th. I look forward to being able to share my tale on this board when I return (and finding an appropriate avatar so I don't appear "faceless").
Mary

Hi, everyone! So happy to see this forum. I got so much good advice from the Trafalgar forum and was very disappointed to see it closing. Looking forward to keeping in touch through this one.

Ahh yes, I love the way any wrinkles seem to have disappeared. I think perhaps I look a bit like a teenage boy though and perhaps the eyes look a little evil
