I noticed in Trafalgar Tours Europe & Britain 2015 brochure that TT is offering discounted single supplements on some (not all tours) and some (not all) departures. For example, the Prague, Vienna & Budapest tour states "Single Deals: These departures include 50-100% discount on our standard single supplement." There is then an icon next to the departure dates that are included in the Single Deals. You will have to look through the brochure at each tour to see if there is a Singles Deal. I've seen several. Perhaps if you are making a decision between different tours, this may help.

Yes! I saw that too. A couple tours I'm looking at have that option. A good incentive to help fill quieter tour dates.  |

Sure would have liked the single discount on my previous 14tours. Oh well just when I decide that I may no longer be travelling they come up with this idea. Purvis

Good to know. I still plan on going to Greece next year, but I’ll keep this in mind for future trips. Hopefully they will continue to offer these deals in the years to come.

It’s nice that Trafalgar is finally starting to offer discounts to their single customers, but the dates that they have chosen are dates that I would normally not travel, so I can’t really take advantage of these discounts. At least I have someone coming with me on my next two tours, so I don’t have to come up with the single supplement. I was looking at the single supplement for the Eastern Europe tour I’m going on next year, and it’s over $1,000.00!

I was not a member back in October if was kind of you to alert people. I found it by accident while dreaming through the brochures. Lucky enough to get the 50% off for my July 4th Scenic Scandinavia and Fjords, ( pays for about half the air) |

That's cool. You'll get about 3 or 4 solo rooms on the tour but you get them for less than you would have paid for a regular room. I checked it out and for example, the room in Stockholm was about $60 less than a regular room. I was wondering why the single supplement was cheaper than I expected for Norway - about $1000 and I expected $1300 or so. I think Switzerland will be the same as the single supplement was only $800 and I'd expect it to be higher for an expensive country. |
