Just came across this site which is pretty good for illustrating the type of plug used in other countries and whether or not you need an adapter: whatplug.info/Remember that most modern electronics is dual voltage so you won't need a converter. This site will show you the adapter necessary. The adapter simply lets you plug a flat prong into round holes or vice versa and etc. If you're not sure if your electronic is dual voltage, just check the electricity information sticker and under INPUT you should see a range of numbers like 110-240V (or thereabouts). If there is a range, it's dual voltage. If you only see a single number like 110V, then it's not dual and would need a converter. Given the cost of converters, it might be cheaper to update the electronic item.
