Yeah, it's about 40 minutes south of me. I was going to go down last Sunday, but being the holidays, everyone and their dog were down there. The lineup on the highway was two kilometres long. I'm hoping to drop down on Monday once the kids are back to school. I did go out to Cape Spear (most easterly point in North America) to take a gander at some of the bergs out there with my sister's dogs.

amazing sizes! you can't appreciate just how large unless they are near something to compare, like the lighthouse point. and the realisation that 2\3 is still under water!

And the one with the lighthouse in front of it was enormous. It looks like it was right next to the point of land when in fact it was a kilometre away!

Iceberg crashing in Diskobay, Greenland The crash is starting slowly, with many smaller parts coming down, the size of the bits falling is increasing and finally ends up in a big burst, like an explosion www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpseIhAapt0 ~ 2:30 ~
