Am I the only one that finds myself wondering whatever happened to Jeno, Tonnet and others who haven't posted in a while. You kind of get use to the posters after a while and start to miss them when you haven't seen a post from them. Thought Tonnet was going to post more frequently when he took on his last trip but that hasn't been the case. And I thought surely Jeno would check in on her birthday but no sign of her either.

I miss everyone as well. I hope that after the next "traveling season" we see more of them, although Jeno has not been heard in a long, long while. I hope everything is going well for the absent members and come back soon.

Hello all, I haven't been on this website much over the last month as I was recovering from surgery. I'm finally getting back into the swing of things, and I hope to be a more regular member shortly, In fact, I'm hoping to finally read Chech's Cuba tale tonight!

I am not privy to details, but I am aware of some members having health issues that limit their ability to contribute here as often as they would wish. I think that Tony has commented previously on this matter and we wish him well.
Jenno was a popular and prolific contributor to the Trafalgar forum. She did join here but has not contributed, despite our urging her to do so. I do know that she does log in from time to time, as recently as seven weeks ago. I suspect that health issues prevent Jenno joining us and if that's the case we should respect that, and send Jenno our very best wishes. I certainly do miss her valuable contributions.

It's very nice to be missed - thank you one and all!!
I've not long returned from a long tour of New Zealand and with one or two issues am starting to recover. This weekend I hope to do a short cruise on my motorcycle as I can just about handle the weight (over 250 Kgs) with little difficulty - ah for the breeze in my face again!!

.... - ah for the breeze in my face again!! ... assuming you lift the visor. (Good to see you back here, Tony) I hear that they're fairly strict on the speed limits in WA, Tony....

Yes, OZ, I have a very versatile helmet which allows me to lift the visor and also the entire face turning it into a pilot's type helmet. I also have CB (UHF) with a boom microphone fitted. An added feature is a dropdown sun shield behind the visor allowing me to ride into the sun when travelling east or west as the time of day dictates.
Speed traps are mounted everywhere over here - mobile and fixed cameras as well as aerial surveillance. My machine wants to get up and go but I am careful to adhere to the limits - all bikers are not idiots on the roads, we just have to watch out for the idiot things car drivers do!
Thanks for the words, Purvis. I have had to make some pretty tough decisions about travel later in the year so won't be able to make it to Canada in August/September. Hopefully I can replan for next year.

Tonnet: Canada will be still here to welcome you when you are able to make it to my wonderful, beautiful country. Purvis
