Final Result on the referendum of Scottish Independence: Yes: 45% No: 55% So Scotland remains as part of the United Kingdom. The question now remains, what effect will this have? The supporters of independence will be very disappointed. Supporters of the union will be relieved that a massive economic shock won't happen. But will the concessions given to Scotland to induce them to stay in the family cause problems? Or do the Scots just shrug all this off and take this sort of approach....

Now that the No vote has received the largest percentage of votes I do hope that the folks at Westminster follow through on the pledges it made to the Scots to stay in the UK otherwise there will certainly be trouble. The big problem with giving Scotland more rights is that both Northern Ireland and Wales will want the same. Purvis
