Trafalgar is not showing the price increases on the CA site yet. We have until Sept 24 to book our 2016 tour and pay the 2015 price, so the 2016 prices won’t be out until after that. Right now, they are still showing the preview prices. I expect a similar increase though, as the CA dollar is not doing very well right now.

It is exciting that Trafalgar will offer Iceland (on my bucket/wish list)

Insight offers a tour of Iceland, but they are more expensive, and I prefer to go with Trafalgar if possible. I’m also curious to see how much of a price increase we will be paying in Canada. Given how poorly our dollar is doing, I’m sure the tours have gone up quite a bit. I’m glad I paid my deposit for next year’s tour before the Sept 24 deadline in order to be guaranteed the 2015 price.

Got a letter from Trafalgar, the reduction of our June 2016 short tour is 130 US$ per person, not too much, I guess about 16-17 per day. Hope everyone gets the same nice surprise.

Trafalgar has another new tour. It is called Celtic Filmscapes. They are adding in filming sites for shows such as Outlander and Game of Thrones.

I wish they would have one based on the books Monuments Men or Salving Italy, I would be on board for that!

I can’t wait to check out the 2016 brochure and see what new tours they have to offer. I hope to stop by my travel agent’s office during lunch today to pick one up.
I got an updated invoice for my Eastern Europe tour next year, and I saved $280.50 Cdn by booking in advance of Sept 24. I’m hoping to pay in full by Jan 14 in order to get the early payment discount, but don’t know if I’ll be able to with Christmas just around the corner.

It is nice to get the discounts that are offered. The early booking and my travel agents discount of 10% will go a long way toward my airfare. Also you will get the repeat customer of 5%. Off to pick up new brochures today as well. Looked on-line but really like to have the physical brochure in my hand.
