Am planning trip to India with my sister. Am looking at go ahead tours and peregrine. Has anyone been on a tour with these. Reviews look okay. We are older age, reasonably active but wonder if its all younger people who do these tours. I know insight does one but a bit out of our budget at moment. Thanks for help anyone.

I haven't travelled with either go ahead or peregrine, but I do know Peregrine is a sister company to Intrepid, they are cheaper and attract a younger crowd than Peregine and some of the tours are the same, so you could book a tour with Peregine but it's run by Intrepid. I know Cosmos does tours to India, have you looked at On The Go Tours, they are like Peregine and attract people of all ages. I'm considering doing a couple of tours with them in the future. I know of a lady in her 50s who went on one and she was happy with them.

Thanks Bet. Decided t o go end of next year instead of feb so will have more time to do some more research. Might do some travelling in my own country first. It's always nice. Don't have to worry about passports, long plane rides and exchange rate.
