I’m enjoying reading about this trip and looking forward to trying some homemade pierogi’s while in Poland! I love pierogi’s and usually get them from a Ukrainian bakery close to where I live. My cousin gets hers from the Polish club close to where she lives, and they are pretty good too. I’m curious to see if they are made differently in Poland.

We had pierogi in Poznan, in a little restaurant off the main plaza, they were very good! To us it was really the only chance we had, and we were lucky we had them there, the last stop in Poland. In Krakow we took a taxi to the Kazimierz district and had dinner at Ariel's, good restaurant with musicians, traditional Jewish food, don't remember what it was, but it was good. Enjoy your tour Tiffany.

Thanks Californian. It will be a 18 months before I go on the Eastern Europe tour, and I haven’t even gone to Greece yet, but I’m really looking forward to this one. I hope to get to eat some pierogis while in Poland. I’ll find a place I’m sure. It sounds like they are really good!

Oz: Just finished reading your tour tale and it reminded me of the tour I took with Trafalgar to Prague, Budapest and Vienna. It's nice to be reminded of the sites through your photos. One of my most favorite cities on my European tours was Berlin. Like you I took many photos and it's always fun looking at them. I even went out and bought a 45"TV to shows the photos on which makes it even more fun. Thanks again. Purvis
