Just been taking a look at the brochures and there's a couple of new tours that look intriguing. The Insight Principalities of EuropeTT's Secrets of Turkey which includes four days on a yacht. And some of the Aegean cruises have changed. TT has a new 7 day cruise for July/Aug that concentrates on the islands (but doesn't go to Rhodes or Istanbul) and some of the others have changed direction. Might give more time in places like Santorini which was far too short on the cruises that include Crete in the morning. Any other new ones stand out?

The Aegean cruise tour looks interesting to me, but I wouldn’t want to go in July or August. I think it would be too hot for me at that time of the year, and prefer to travel in the spring or fall. I went to Turkey in mid-May, and I found it too hot in the south of Turkey even at that time of the year.

Yeah, that would be a hot time to go. The 7 day cruise with Istanbul has altered it to give more time in Santorini and Crete. It drops Patmos (no loss there) but also looks like it reduces the time in Rhodes. If I only had a half day there, I'd stay in the walled city and explore/shop/take pics/relax. The extra time in Crete would give time to go to the optional near Heraklion. Looks like the same amount of time in Mykonos. Overall - a preferable itinerary to the one I did, I think.

The Best of Greece with 7 day cruise tour no longer goes to Patmos so there’s more time in Santorini, but the Best of Greece with the 4 day tour still includes Patmos. I’m still not sure what tour I’ll be going on yet, but I would love more time in Santorini. I should know for sure if my friend will be able to come with me next month.
