I thought it might be an idea to revive the old Trafalgar thread which was the longest and most popular of all on that board.
I know Jenno is out there and I am sure that she will join in very shortly.
Sorry, Jenno, but I am not having a Dilmah I'm just sipping on my coffee.
I do recall enjoying a coffee with you when Leo and I visited in February this year - it was lovely sitting out on your patio.
So come on Jenno fans...let's stir her into action!

Good timing! I was just about to get a cuppa Red Rose (decaffeinated) before the evening's football game starts. Go Pats!

Nah. Why would I drink tea on such a lovely warm Sydney day when I can sit by the pool with a cold beer?

Oz, I don't know about decaffinated tea but I can tell you the distinct difference between drinking hot and cold beverages while reading posts. I learned that one in a hurry!

Im a coffee drinker especially at breakfast when I am usually online and pop in here. trouble is, nine x out of ten I'm the only one here so no-one to share a cuppa with I'm also typing a few replies as I don't like being a new member - I've been around a lot longer than that!

20 posts and you'll become a junior member, Solaria. Maybe that's not all that comforting to you either. 100 posts gets you a full member badge. Sorry, but it wasn't possible to collate everybody's Trafalgar forum posting records and import them here so everyone had to start from scratch.

You are quite right! It is pretty quiet early in the morning.
I'm a very early riser. Have to get out of bed. Beds are pretty dangerous places - people die in them!

Junior will be fine - I can show the grandkids that its proof I'm not old! 20 posts are doable but I'll be Junoir for quite awhile - I'm more a reader than a writer

Don’t worry Solaria, you’ll reach 100 posts in no time, even if you don’t post often. I was surprised at how fast I reached 100 posts.

On my third cuppa coffee............yoo hoo.....Jennnnoooo, where are you? I'm on my third coffee too. At 6.30am local (Perth) time, I'm contemplating the day. First job will be the assembly and erection of a new garden shed with son-in-law Stuart, having cast the concrete foundation a fortnight ago. Yesterday I painted the slab with a very nice 2-pack epoxy paint sealing off any rising dampness. The afternoon will be dedicated to motorcycle racing from Phillip Island, Victoria, as they prepare for the Australian Moto Grand Prix tomorrow. I'm still getting used to the three hours time differential with most of the Eastern states as they are now in Daylight Saving Mode (Queensland does not participate). At least I don't have to do any adjustments to UTC (or GMT if you like) as we are 8 hours ahead and East Coast Canada is exactly 12 hours opposite to us; i.e., 7am Perth is 7pm in Toronto at this time of the year.
It's too early to be clanging around so I think I will just have to make another coffee!

Holy cow, I think you need 2 more coffee! LOL I have a cuppa decaffeinated Red Rose in hand...my foot, shoulder and lower back all have heat packs on them and I'm settling down to watch the Amazing Race. I'm an hour and a half ahead of Toronto...so 7 am in Perth should be 8:30 pm here...the night before.

Yes, you have to do a bit of mental arithmetic to keep up with it all. I didn't mention the day ahead business but you have to take that into consideration as well. When travelling east we have to look at the International Dateline as well and think about arriving before you leave when getting to the West Coast of North America.
We don't have that problem when travelling to Asia as there is little time difference.
