The cabin crew has undergone specific training in regards to coronavirus.
Cabin crew aboard Qatar Airways flights will don head-to-toe Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suits, complete with safety goggles while on board.
The suits are in addition to the gloves and masks that cabin crew has worn over the past few weeks, the airline announced in a press release this week. In addition to their new protective equipment, the cabin crew has undergone training on how to minimize their chances of contracting or spreading COVID-19. They have a thermal temperature screening before takeoff and after arrival. If any colleagues or passengers show symptoms or test positive for the virus, cabin crew are also quarantined and tested.
