1 ~~~ Alexander Park: the last place of life of Emperor Nicholas II ~~~ Alexander Park is located in Tsarskoye Selo (now the city of Pushkin) near the Catherine's Park.
In the park is the Alexander Palace, which at the beginning of the XX century was the main residence of Emperor Nicholas II.
In this residence were 12 years of the reign of the last Russian emperor and his family.
Here the family of the emperor was taken under arrest after the February 1905 revolution ~ photo of the emperor's family under arrest: www.flickr.com/photos/ecoclimax/36729497440/sizes/o/
On the morning of August 1, 1917, the family of the Romanovs was sent from this palace to the Siberian exile, and then to Ekaterinburg, where she was shot.
