YOU’RE FREE TO POSTPONE YOUR HOLIDAY

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), to be a global pandemic. We are providing the following options to help protect our guests and provide peace of mind.
For all bookings departing before or on 30 April 2020
In accordance with travel restrictions imposed by government advisories worldwide Trafalgar
has temporarily suspended all guided holidays across the globe for trips departing up and until 30 April 2020.
All guests currently booked on a guided holiday during this temporary suspension are eligible to either:
Change their travel dates or destination to any trip in 2020 or 2021, without penalty on the land portion of their trip.
Any savings applied to the original booking, up to 15%, will be transferred to the new trip selected.*
OR
Elect for a travel credit in the full amount paid (without penalty on the land portion) for the suspended holiday package (land only or land/air)
redeemable against a new booking for travel to any destination departing before December 31, 2021.**
Please note: Normal penalties apply for full cancellation without rebooking or cancellations made more than 30 days before departure.
These policies are subject to change at any time and are not retroactive for bookings cancelled prior to March 16, 2020.
For all bookings departing from 1 May 2020
For guests with existing bookings departing from 1 May 2020 (and more than 30 days from today), or for any new bookings being made, we are temporarily offering a fee waiver on the land portion of the trip until 30 days prior to departure should guests wish to change their dates or travel to a different destination. Airlines may have different policies and penalty charges, which are the guest’s responsibility. ***
*The temporary change fee waiver applies to the land portion of all trips departing through April 30, 2020. If the guest chooses a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, they are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. Please note, guests are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.
** If the guest selects this option, the new invoice will service as the travel credit confirmation. The credit amount will stay assigned to the original booking number. To redeem the travel credit, state the booking reference number when calling to make the new reservation departing at any time before December 31, 2021. Future travel credit will be issued in the value of the amount paid for the land portion of the trip and is not redeemable for cash. If the new trip or departure is more expensive than the original, the guest is responsible for the difference in price; if the new trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. Please note guests are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations. Offer may be withdrawn at any time and other restrictions may apply.
***This applies to land bookings only and does not apply to European trips that include Oberammergau or group bookings. If the guest chooses a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, they are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. Please note guests are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.
All offers are valid until further notice and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Policies are subject to change at any time.
