Hello there, any reviews or comments on this type of vacation? Booked one week between Passau and Budapest, and I wonder about activities (have not received any info yet), my days of walking and walking are mostly over so I am hoping there are plenty of optional tours that would not require much standing, walking, etc. My son and daughter in law are practically "forcing" me to go with them, they are very active young people,I know I would not be able to keep up with them, so I would mostly be on my own during the day. I would appreciate any word of advise?

we recently did an Avalon cruise. You can do as much or as little as you feel like. On our cruise, when there was a morning walk around a town there was always a group for slow walkers so you wouldn't have to keep pace with younger, fitter people. Some people also just went into the town and relaxed at a cafe and people-watched or, did some shopping if that was their 'thing'. If you don't feel like a walk its very relaxing staying on board and reading or chatting with others who also choose to remain on ship. You you find that a week will pass very quickly. we did 13 days and that passed quite quickly too.

Thank you Solaria. I hope there are enough of us and we are offered different activities, museums etc. And of course concerts. I wouldn’t mind staying on board once in a while; I have been to Budapest and Vienna, and would probably skip some of the tours, but don’t want to miss too much! My son and DIL want to start 5-6 days earlier and drive thru Germany. I just hope I will be able to keep up! My last two tours with Trafalgar took a lot out me... not getting any younger. Happy travels and thanks again .
