There must always be that one personal that ruins a forum, by just spamming it! If anyone is looking for person's opinion about Cape Town and not a bot. Here it is: As someone that lived in Cape Town for 1 Year, I would say it's absolutely beautiful. Would defiantly recommend it for your "must do" travel list. But if I'm being honest, deciding what to do can be overwhelming. Especially for someone like me who hates missing out. I found a site www.vibescout.com which helped me to find out what was happening around Cape Town in my first years there. Definitely, recommend having a look at it.

I apologize. Didn't realize. Just saw a number of links being dropped and assumed.

I will make a comment on this to clarify matters: Note: Regular contributors may recommend various travel related businesses in the course of discussions. The important matters to note are: 1. Advertising has a motive: to promote a person's business activities. 2. Spamming is conducted with a purpose to disrupt forum activities. Owen's posts do neither. He recommends many travel-related sites as they may be of interest to the members and guests who read this forum. We consider this to be helpful advice and this forum has a very rich store of useful information as a result. We are happy to have a wide range of travel recommendations posted for this reason. What we do not want are members whose dominant purpose is to advertise or recommend one main business and not robustly participate in forum discussions. That's why we regularly monitor this and remove posts (and sometimes members) who do not comply. Hopefully this explains the policy.
